Hello! I’m Cara,

pronounced care-ah like "I care a lot." I believe in the importance of family and am passionate about helping families become their most loving, supportive, and cohesive selves. Many gurus joke that the best way to test your enlightenment is to spend a day with your family. My goal is to provide you with the right tools so that even a busy household can feel peaceful and harmonious.

I specialize in working with children and the unique challenges they face. I support children with behavioral needs, sensory processing issues, and PTSD. I also offer guidance to teenagers navigating anxiety, depression, and the transition into adulthood. My support extends beyond children, ensuring that parents and caregivers receive the care they need as well. I aim to help you create the tranquility and balance you seek in your home.

With 1,000 hours of yoga therapy training and over a decade of experience working with children and families I bring a wealth of knowledge and non-judgmental support. I am here to help you build a happy, peaceful home.

  • "Cara provides an environment in which I am challenged and learning, but always within my own abilities. She gives me tools to help me practice between yoga classes. She has helped me focus not just on yoga and the increased flexibility it has given me, but also lifestyle changes to improve my overall health. Examples include better nutrition, sleep, and stress management. I wholeheartedly recommend her as a yoga teacher. "

    - Jean M., retired insurance agent, supportive daughter and becoming bilingual

  • "Cara has helped me push through to find a yoga practice that works for me. She encourages me to qualify my feelings and my pain levels so that I can see progress and know what I need to work on. She is insightful and knowledgeable about emotions and the effects they play on the human body."

    - Barbara M., special ed. teacher, board member of a preschool, and gardener

  • "I came to the table with very little knowledge about yoga but with the desire to have a comfortable and low stress pregnancy. Cara was great about teaching manageable movements with clear demonstrations and adjusting the movements to work with my changing body and address problem areas as they arose. Cara is a very down to earth instructor and was easy to talk to. I always felt like she deeply listened to what I needed and had a keen intuitive sense of what I didn’t know I needed at the time but would up helping immensely. I found that her breathing techniques and guided meditations were particularly helpful in my late term and birthing experience and allowed me to feel positive and grounded. I fully credit Cara for my comfortable and relaxed pregnancy. Thanks Cara!"

    - Beth D., new mom, book enthusiast and beautiful soul

  • "I can't speak highly enough about yoga sessions with Cara. She's super friendly and makes you instantly feel comfortable and at ease. She takes the time to look into any physical or emotional limitations and comes up with a plan around them, plus continues to check in and adjust each session as need so that you get the most out of each meeting. Every time we're done I leave feeling heard, relaxed and empowered.

  • "Miss Cara has worked with my kiddos for a few years and has been such a gift to our family. Her ability to guide others to connect, play, grow and ground more deeply with themselves is so beneficial whether navigation trauma healing, major life changes, sensory processing needs or just a long day. I highly recommend Miss Cara's yoga therapy. It really makes a difference.

    - Ayla L., nurse practitioner, doula, and dedicated mother

  • "Miss Cara is gracious, compassionate, articulate, conscientious, hardworking, analytical and responsible. I admire her resourcefulness and energy as she interacts with children. She is also very knowledgable!"

Audrey H., grandmother, retired preschool teacher, and devout believer

  • "Cara is a lovely human with a big heart and a love for sharing yoga and mindfulness with others. She taught my son yoga and he learned so much through her. She is spunky and energetic, gentle and kind, so knowledgable on children and yoga, and all around wonderful. Kids and adults will love Cara just as we do!"

Michele R., non-profit worker, mother of three sons, and kindest texan

  • "I enjoyed yoga and all of its benefits before I took Cara's classes. After taking her first class, I knew I would be a consistent participant. She sets an energetic tone of ease and love that can be felt the moment you enter the space. Her playfulness and reminder that joy and comedy can and should be inserted into every aspect of life, including yoga, helps reduce inner and community tension and stiffness that can often happen in a yoga class. She is, however, serious about the beauty and power of the practice, on and off the mat, and correcting form to increase said benefits. The word yoga means union of body, mind and spirit and she is, hands down, my favorite person to guide that unification because of her own anchor to love.
